We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior/Principal Software Developer to join the Data and Observability team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As a crucial member, you'll dive into the world of OCI cache with Redis service, a managed offering within the Oracle Cloud.

Your role?

To orchestrate the development, maintenance, and improvement of our cloud services. But that's not all – you'll also play a pivotal role in refining operational practices, test automation, and other critical aspects of our cloud infrastructure.

We're seeking someone with a robust grasp of Java programming, object-oriented concepts, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the development, maintenance, and improvement efforts for OCI cache with Redis service.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational practices and implement test automation.

• Ensure high-quality code delivery by following standard methodologies in software development and adhering to coding standards.

• Participate in code reviews, solving, and resolution of technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of cloud services.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance OCI offerings.

• Drive DevOps practices to streamline deployment processes and enhance overall efficiency.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

• Collaborate with product management to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Actively chip into the growth and success of OCI through proactive participation in critical initiatives and projects.
