Amazon Software Development Engineer Intern, Prime Air, Prime Air (AMOS) in Seattle, Washington

Are you interested in learning more about where a degree in computer science can take you? Amazon Prime Air wants to help! Our 12-week software development internship program provides hands-on learning and building experiences for college freshmen who are making an early commitment to computer science.

As a Prime Air intern you will partner closely with your technical mentor, manager, and fellow interns to innovate and create on behalf of our customers. You will gain experience working with cutting-edge technologies and tools unique to Amazon.

If an Intern is offered a full-time employment role in the US following their graduation, Amazon will assess all candidates for US immigration eligibility during the pre-hire process. Basic Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineeing IT or Mechatronics field as a first year or second year undergraduate student

Enrolled and taking courses at an accredited 4-year university or college Completed AP CS course in high school (or equivalent) Intention to declare major in CS by end of Junior year

Basic experience in front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience in scripting language Perl, Python, JavaScript, etc Preferred experience in object oriented programming language such as Java or C+Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42.50/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $96.15/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
