The Opportunity with McKinstry

We're seeking a passionate individual who excels in building connections with people and is dedicated to championing the trades. As a Talent Acquisition Partner specializing in field engineering and union positions , you should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, with a strong emphasis on field recruitment and nurturing union relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Spearheading and defining the Field Tradespersons Recruiting Program.

  • Cultivating awareness of career pathways within unions.

  • Taking initiative and employing resourcefulness to address recruitment challenges.

  • Conducting screening, interviews, and management of active candidates.

  • Employing innovative methods to source and network, thereby driving applicant engagement.

  • Collaborating with local unions, participating in trades-related events and conferences, and establishing partnerships with local trade schools, high schools, and community colleges.

  • Conducting ongoing exploratory interviews to maintain a consistent talent pipeline.

  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition Team as other priorities arise

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Previous experience in recruiting for field, service, and labor positions.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficiency in networking and familiarity with best search practices.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.

  • Some knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, OFCCP, and general HR practices (preferred).

T he pay range for this position is $72,090 - $119,300 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
