What You'll Do As a Field Consultant you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of product and applications trials with Field Technicians and Field Specialist to ensure project milestones and on-time delivery of tasks. Provide on-the-job training for customer blasting personnel to ensure safe product use.  Other duties include * Demonstrate  and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety.  (Ensure Safe Act Observations, Job Safety Analyses, Take 5's, stretching, and all safety rules are being completed.) * Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations. * Live  and foster the IPL Corporate Values. * Manage individual project related expenses (materials and travel). * Contribute to achieving budgeted customer profitability as measured by EBIT. * Management of all company assets to assist with achieving Company budgeted gross margin. * Ensure quality of service by minimizing losses related to blasting. * Conduct pre-blast surveys e.g. face profiles, borehole deviation measurements, blast geometry measurements, product sampling, safety audits, etc. * Conduct blast performance measurements, e.g. digital high-speed video, vibration monitoring, vibration modelling, velocity of detonation, dynamic pressure, SHA, etc. * Conduct post blast assessments, etc. fragmentation measurement, time studies, volumetric measurements, blast reporting and documentation. * Conduct time studies on personnel and equipment throughout an operation including: drill and blast operations, truck-shovel loading, dragline, dozer assist, crushing process, etc. * Respond professionally and timely to address problems and business requests. * Communicate effectively with all Global DynoConsult engineers and personnel.

What We're Looking For: * Four-year degree in Mining, Geo-technical, Mineral, and/or Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering.Advanced Degree in Geo-technical, Civil Engineering, Computer Sciences, etc., or, equivalent time/experience in job with proven skills. Advanced degree beneficial. * Previous experience as a technical consultant preferred * Experience in a blaster supervisory role preferred. * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure customer environment. * Current MSHA certification for Part 46 and 48 (or ability to obtain) * Background in drilling and/or vibrations helpful. * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Must be able to travel...
