Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical-minded individual to join our team as a Pricebook Analyst. The Pricebook Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's pricing database, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and competitiveness in pricing across all products and services. This role will involve extensive data analysis, market research, and collaboration with various departments to optimize pricing strategies and drive profitability.

This is a contract role up to 1-year in duration and is remote.

Responsibilities:

· Pricebook Management: Maintain and update the company's pricebook, including product and service pricing information, discounts, promotions, and special offers.

· Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive pricing to identify opportunities for pricing adjustments and improvements.

· Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.

· Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' pricing strategies and market positioning to inform pricing decisions and maintain our competitive edge.

· Price Optimization: Use data-driven insights to optimize pricing across different customer segments, geographies, and channels to maximize revenue and profitability.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and product management to align pricing strategies with business objectives and market dynamics.

· Price Change Implementation: Coordinate the implementation of price changes, ensuring accuracy and timely updates across all systems and channels.

· Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales volume, revenue, and profitability, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of pricing policies, procedures, and guidelines, and generate regular reports to communicate pricing performance and insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.

· Proven experience in pricing analysis, preferably in a retail or eCommerce environment.

· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

· Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

· Familiarity with pricing strategies, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence.

· Experience with pricing software or ERP systems is a plus.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
