Sr. Member of Technical Staff needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Middletown, NJ to ideate, spec and present, new or improved high, and low-level architecture and designs for network-based capabilities or implementations. Interface with Operations, Planning, Product and Engineering teams to understand and refine requirements and translate them to detailed software and network requirements. Oversee, organize, and lead network development for production systems. Provide or contribute to design documents. Participate or lead project meetings to report on progress, uncover/resolve issues, and ensure that the work product meets the needs of the service. Route and switch protocol BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, multicast, SRv6, CoS/QoS, EVPN, VxLAN, VRRP, VPLS, FXC, Psuedowire. Design and deploy multivendor network solutions. Utilize Cisco IOS-XR, Juniper JunOS, Arista EOS and Nokia SR-OS. Design Layer 3 ISP PE routers supporting Mobile, Broadband, and Enterprise network services Design Layer 2 access networks supporting Mobile, Broadband, and Enterprise networks. Employ data center networking including security implementations. Conduct proof-ofconcept and designing validation in a lab with hands-on configuration and testing using vendor products. Define requirements to design highly innovative solutions. Program physical and virtual traffic generators, network diagnostic and analyzer tools - Spirent, IXIA, TRex. Demonstrate knowledge of physical and logical computer components. Understand information security principles and practices. Define APIs to automate configuration and enable MACD capabilities and development of data models. Configure and manage configurations using tools like Ansible / Salt or other configuration management / automation frameworks. Produce system design and plan implementation through multiple iterations from concept to production. Utilize software engineering and development utilizing Python. Define and develop APIs for service, provisioning, and reporting.
