Customer Service Representative:
Customer service representative to provide day-to-day service and direct support to new and existing policyholders.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide backup to receptionist with agency phone system.
- Proficiency in typing and ability to document client records in a timely manner.
- Answer incoming calls from policyholders and assist with inquiries and concerns regarding policy details, coverage limits and billing inquiries.
- Maintains print and electronic records and files as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of various insurance products and policies or ability to be a quick learner.
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Licensed to sell insurance in applicable state or ability to obtain license within first 6-months.
- Two years of related experience preferred but not required.
- Prior customer service experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
