ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
POSITION: Maintenance & Automotive Technician
12 Month Contract Full-time Position (Hours: 7 am to 3:30 pm)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance of buildings, emergency
systems and other maintenance duties as needed. Responsible for routine and
preventative maintenance of all college vehicles and equipment, as well as
maintaining records for each piece of equipment or vehicle. Assistance will
be required as a groundskeeper as directed by Director of Physical Plant
Operations.
Position Description
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, or G.E.D, required. Previous experience preferred.
Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and
frequently exert 40-60 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or
otherwise move objects. Valid drivers license. Successful completion of
background check.
LOCATION: Iola, Kansas Campus
SALARY: Hiring wage dependent upon experience. Excellent benefit package including
paid medical/dental for employee only, generous vacation, sick leave,
