As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for managing crucial live haul activities. Your role encompasses overseeing rendering drivers, live haul drivers, and ensuring the smooth movement of animals between local destinations. Take charge of the daily operations in the truck service center, truck wash, logistics scheduling, and maintain an active list of all vehicles and their locations.

We place a strong emphasis on compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, environmental considerations, safety guidelines, and biosecurity protocols. Your specific duties will include creating and maintaining daily live haul schedules, keeping a master log of animal locations, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Additionally, your responsibilities extend to maintaining records of accidents, point accumulation for safety awards, payroll, and drivers\' logs. Contribute to a culture of safety and excellence by conducting driver safety meetings, facilitating new team member orientation, and embracing other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Associate\'s degree preferred but not required

  • Experience: 5 plus years supervisory experience

  • Computer Skills: Standard computer skills

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Supervisory: This position is responsible for managing one or more groups of Team Members who perform like activities

  • Travel: 6 plus domestic trips per year
